Tarak ShahAssociate Director
Tarak Shah is a marketer with roots in science and technology, who understands the dynamics of how a pharmaceutical brand should operate in a digital world. Tarak is currently the Digital Strategy Lead for the Global Otezla team at Amgen. In this role, he has led the development and execution of digital strategies which have contributed to Otezla’s growth worldwide. By building capabilities in people, process, and technology, Tarak helped Otezla become a more global digital brand with an expanded digital footprint.
Prior to Amgen, Tarak has also led digital marketing and digital health projects in previous commercial roles at Merck and Janssen, which have produced impactful solutions for HCPs and patients in multiple therapeutic areas.
Tarak has over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a double major in Economics from Northwestern University, a Master of Biotechnology degree from The University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Rutgers Business School.
